2. Purpose of This Website
This website is primarily an industrial product information and enquiry platform. It allows visitors to:
- Review machinery details
- Understand general product applications
- Check available models and capacities
- Submit a machinery requirement
- Request technical specifications
- Ask for customization
- Request pricing or a quotation
- Contact our team for a technical discussion
Unless a specific online purchasing facility is introduced and expressly identified, displaying a machine on this website does not constitute an automatic offer to sell, and submitting an enquiry does not create a confirmed order.
3. Acceptance of These Terms
By continuing to use this website, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.
- You are legally capable of entering into a business transaction.
- Where you act for a company, factory, firm, partnership, or other organization, you are authorized to communicate and submit requirements on its behalf.
- The information you provide is accurate and not misleading.
- You will use the website only for lawful business and informational purposes.
Where you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you should discontinue using the website and avoid submitting business or technical information through it.
4. Product Information on the Website
We make reasonable efforts to present useful and accurate machinery information. However, website content is provided for general product understanding and preliminary evaluation.
Product photographs, illustrations, videos, specifications, capacities, dimensions, components, features, layouts, and descriptions may vary from the machine ultimately supplied because of:
- Model selection
- Production capacity
- Pipe or material requirements
- Customer-requested customization
- Component availability
- Design improvements
- Safety or engineering modifications
- Power and site requirements
- Manufacturing updates
The final scope of supply will be based only on the specifications confirmed in the accepted quotation, technical document, invoice, or written order agreement.
A product image may contain optional equipment, accessories, safety arrangements, or visual elements that are not included in the standard quoted price.
5. Product Performance and Production Capacity
Production capacities shown on the website or discussed during an enquiry are indicative unless expressly committed in an accepted technical document.
Actual machine performance may depend on factors such as:
- Raw material type and quality
- Moisture, contamination, and material condition
- Input particle or pipe size
- Blade, disc, screen, heater, or tooling configuration
- Electrical voltage and power stability
- Water or compressed-air availability
- Operator knowledge and working method
- Maintenance condition
- Ambient factory conditions
- Feeding consistency
- Upstream and downstream equipment
- Customer-provided process parameters
The buyer is responsible for providing accurate production details before finalizing the machine. Dass Engineering Private Limited cannot be held responsible for reduced output caused by unsuitable raw material, incorrect operation, inadequate utilities, unauthorized modifications, or conditions outside the agreed machine specifications.
6. Product Enquiries
You may submit an enquiry through:
- Website forms
- Telephone
- An in-person meeting
- An authorized business representative
An enquiry is only a request for information. It does not reserve machinery, confirm availability, fix a price, or create a binding purchase contract.
To help us recommend a suitable machine, we may request details such as:
- Material to be processed
- Pipe size or product application
- Required production capacity
- Input size and condition
- Preferred automation level
- Electrical power availability
- Factory location
- Available installation space
- Delivery destination
- Expected purchase timeline
- Customization requirements
The quality of our recommendation depends on the accuracy and completeness of the information supplied by the customer.
7. Quotations and Commercial Proposals
A quotation issued by Dass Engineering Private Limited may contain:
- Product name and model
- Technical specifications
- Production capacity
- Scope of supply
- Included components
- Optional accessories
- Price
- Applicable taxes
- Payment schedule
- Estimated manufacturing period
- Freight or delivery terms
- Installation or commissioning conditions
- Warranty coverage
- Exclusions
- Validity period
A quotation is valid only until the date stated in it. After expiry, the price or delivery period may be revised due to changes in raw-material costs, component prices, taxes, freight charges, currency rates, labour costs, or production availability.
Prices discussed over the telephone or through informal messaging are not final unless confirmed in an official written quotation or invoice.
8. Order Confirmation
An order is considered accepted only when:
- The technical and commercial specifications have been agreed upon;
- Dass Engineering Private Limited has issued or accepted a written order confirmation, quotation, invoice, or equivalent commercial document; and
- The required advance payment or other agreed consideration has been received.
A customer purchase order is not automatically binding on Dass Engineering Private Limited if it contains terms that conflict with our quotation. Any conflicting or additional terms must be expressly accepted by an authorized representative in writing.
Informal conversations, preliminary estimates, marketing materials, social media posts, and website content do not override the final accepted order documents.
9. Electronic and WhatsApp Communication
Customers may communicate with us through email, WhatsApp, website forms, and other electronic channels. Electronic proposals, acceptances, and records can have legal recognition under India’s Information Technology Act, including Section 10A concerning contracts formed through electronic means.
However, casual discussions, unanswered messages, automated confirmations, or preliminary exchanges should not be treated as final order acceptance unless the communication clearly confirms the relevant technical and commercial terms.
Customers should preserve copies of quotations, approvals, payment records, and order confirmations.
10. Customized Machinery
Many industrial machines are manufactured or configured according to customer-specific requirements.
Before manufacturing begins, the customer must carefully review and confirm:
- Machine model
- Material application
- Capacity requirement
- Input and output conditions
- Electrical specifications
- Dimensions
- Tooling
- Automation level
- Accessories
- Scope of supply
- Factory conditions
- Delivery requirements
Once approved, changes may not always be technically or commercially possible.
Where a customer requests changes after design, component procurement, fabrication, assembly, or testing has begun, Dass Engineering Private Limited may:
- Revise the price
- Extend the production timeline
- Charge for additional material or labour
- Reject changes that affect safety or performance
- Require written approval before proceeding
Dass Engineering Private Limited is not responsible for issues resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or subsequently altered customer requirements.
11. Customer-Supplied Drawings, Samples and Information
Where the customer provides drawings, dimensions, samples, photographs, technical files, or process information, the customer confirms that:
- The information is accurate.
- It has the authority to share the material.
- Our use of the material for the order will not violate third-party rights.
- Relevant dimensions and tolerances have been verified.
- Any unusual application or safety requirement has been disclosed.
We may rely on customer-approved information while designing or manufacturing the machine. Additional costs arising from incorrect information or revised samples may be charged to the customer.
12. Pricing and Taxes
Unless expressly stated otherwise in the quotation:
- Prices are quoted in Indian rupees.
- GST and other applicable taxes are charged separately.
- Freight and transit insurance are excluded.
- Unloading and internal factory movement are excluded.
- Foundation, civil, plumbing, electrical, water, and compressed-air work are excluded.
- Installation, travel, accommodation, and technician expenses are excluded unless specifically included.
- Consumables and production raw materials are excluded.
- Export duties, destination taxes, customs charges, and local regulatory fees are borne by the international buyer.
- Bank, payment gateway, and currency-conversion charges are borne by the customer.
The accepted quotation or invoice will determine the final price and inclusions for each order.
13. Payment Terms
Customers must make payment according to the schedule mentioned in the accepted quotation, invoice, or order confirmation.
The payment structure may include:
- Advance payment
- Stage payment during manufacturing
- Balance before dispatch
- Another schedule accepted in writing
Manufacturing, procurement, testing, dispatch, installation, or technical services may be paused where a payment becomes overdue.
Any resulting delay will not be counted as a delay attributable to Dass Engineering Private Limited.
Ownership of the machine may remain with Dass Engineering Private Limited until full payment and all agreed charges have been received, subject to the applicable written order terms and law.
14. Manufacturing and Completion Period
Manufacturing timelines are estimated from the date on which all required conditions have been completed, including:
- Receipt of advance payment
- Approval of specifications
- Receipt of customer drawings or samples

- Testing requirements
- Transport restrictions
- Government action
- Natural events
- Circumstances beyond reasonable control
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays.
15. Testing and Pre-Dispatch Approval
Where applicable, machinery may be tested before dispatch according to the agreed scope and available testing material.
A customer may be invited to:
- Inspect the machine
- Review a test
- Participate through video
- Nominate a representative
- Approve dispatch documents
Where the customer does not attend after reasonable notice, we may conduct internal testing and proceed according to the accepted order terms.
Special testing material, tooling, or process conditions required exclusively for the customer may need to be provided or paid for by the customer.
16. Delivery and Transportation
Delivery terms will be specified in the quotation or order confirmation.
Depending on the agreement:
- The customer may arrange transportation.
- Dass Engineering Private Limited may coordinate transportation through an independent logistics provider.
- Freight may be charged separately.
- Transit insurance may be arranged by the customer or included only when expressly mentioned.
Transporters and logistics providers operate independently. Their delays, route changes, handling practices, or service failures may be outside our direct control.
The customer must ensure that the delivery address, contact details, road access, entry permissions, and unloading arrangements are correct and available before dispatch.
17. Transit Damage and Delivery Inspection
The customer should inspect the packaging and machinery immediately upon delivery.
Visible damage, shortage, or mishandling should be:
- Recorded on the transporter’s delivery receipt;
- Photographed or filmed before unloading where possible; and
- Reported promptly to Dass Engineering Private Limited and the transporter.
Claims relating to transit damage may require the original delivery receipt, photographs, videos, transporter acknowledgement, invoice, and packing details.
Damage caused during unloading, internal shifting, crane handling, forklift operation, or storage at the customer’s premises is the customer’s responsibility unless those activities were expressly included in our scope.
18. Site Readiness and Installation
Where installation or commissioning support is included or separately arranged, the customer must prepare the factory before the technician or machine arrives.
Site readiness may include:
- Suitable floor space

19. Customer Responsibilities After Delivery
The customer is responsible for:
- Using the machine only for its approved application
- Following operating and maintenance instructions
- Providing trained operators
- Maintaining safety guards and protection systems
- Using suitable raw material
- Ensuring proper power, water, and air supply
- Performing scheduled lubrication and maintenance
- Preventing unauthorized modifications
- Maintaining a safe workplace
- Complying with labour, environmental, electrical, and factory regulations
- Keeping service and maintenance records
- Reporting problems before continued operation causes further damage
Any machine should be operated only by personnel who understand its function and safety requirements.
20. Warranty and Replacement Support
Warranty coverage will be governed by the terms stated in the quotation, invoice, warranty document, or other written order record.
Any website statement concerning lifetime product warranty or free replacement support applies only to eligible products or components and remains subject to the written coverage, exclusions, verification requirements, and conditions applicable to the relevant order.
Warranty or replacement support will not ordinarily cover:
- Normal wear and tear

- Operation outside the approved application
- Failure to follow instructions
Before approving repair or replacement support, we may request photographs, videos, operating details, maintenance records, or an inspection of the affected part.
The applicable written warranty terms will prevail over general promotional content.
21. After-Sales and Technical Support
Dass Engineering Private Limited may provide technical assistance through:
- Telephone
- Video call
- Technical documents
- Site visits where agreed
Remote support may require the customer to provide clear photographs, videos, machine settings, electrical readings, and a description of the problem.
Site visits outside the agreed warranty or support scope may involve travel, accommodation, labour, and service charges.
22. Cancellation by the Customer
Machinery may be designed, procured, or manufactured specifically for a customer. Therefore, an order cannot be cancelled automatically after acceptance.
A cancellation request must be submitted in writing and is subject to approval by Dass Engineering Private Limited.
Where cancellation is accepted, we may deduct or recover costs already incurred, including:
- Engineering and design work
- Raw materials
- Purchased components
- Fabrication
- Machining
- Labour
- Administration
- Testing
- Banking charges
- Storage
- Other order-specific expenses
Advance payments may become non-refundable once design, procurement, or manufacturing has begun, subject to the applicable order documents and mandatory legal rights.
23. Returns and Refunds
Industrial machinery manufactured or configured for a particular requirement is not ordinarily eligible for return because of a change of preference, incorrect customer selection, lack of site readiness, or revised production plans.
A return, refund, repair, or replacement may be considered where:
- The supplied machine materially differs from the accepted specification;
- A confirmed manufacturing defect is identified; or
- The applicable written warranty provides a remedy.
The appropriate remedy will depend on technical inspection, the nature of the issue, the written order terms, and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove a legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Government consumer resources describe consumer protection principles including transparency and fair treatment, although the legal treatment of a particular purchase can depend on whether it qualifies as a consumer or commercial transaction.
24. Storage Charges and Delayed Dispatch
Where a machine is ready but dispatch is delayed because of customer instructions, overdue payment, unavailable transport, incomplete documentation, or an unprepared factory site, we may store the machine for a reasonable period.
Additional storage, handling, preservation, insurance, or re-testing charges may apply where the delay continues beyond the agreed or reasonable period.
The customer remains responsible for completing the outstanding requirements necessary for dispatch.
25. Export Orders
International orders may be subject to additional terms covering:
- Export documentation
- Packaging
- Freight
- Insurance
- Customs clearance
- Incoterms
- Destination duties and taxes
- Foreign exchange
- Banking compliance
- Installation
- Local electrical or safety standards
- Import permissions
The international buyer is responsible for confirming destination-country requirements unless the accepted quotation assigns a specific responsibility to Dass Engineering Private Limited.
