Dass Engineering Private Limited, also known as S.S. Enterprises, is a Patna-based manufacturer of machinery for plastic pipe production, material processing, and recycling applications. Our industry journey began in 1975, when the family business was established to manufacture practical and dependable engineering solutions for the growing plastic pipe sector.
The business heritage dates back more than five decades, while Dass Engineering Private Limited was formally incorporated in 2026. This distinction reflects our long manufacturing experience and our continued progress as a professionally managed, multi-generation engineering company.
From our manufacturing base in Patna, Bihar, we serve PVC, CPVC, HDPE, and PET processing businesses across India and selected international markets. A Three-Generation Manufacturing Legacy
Dass Engineering represents three generations of family involvement in the plastic processing machinery industry.
The first generation established the business in 1975 and developed its technical foundation. The second generation strengthened operations, customer relationships, and market reach. The third generation is now working to modernize processes, improve manufacturing systems, expand into new markets, and build stronger supply-chain capabilities. This combination of inherited engineering knowledge and modern management allows us to preserve proven manufacturing practices while adapting to changing industrial requirements.
Meet Subhas Mondal
Subhas Mondal is a second-generation entrepreneur with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calcutta and qualifications in Electronics and Business Management from CYSEC, Kolkata. He has 15 years of corporate-sector experience across diversified business profiles and has been successfully managing the family business since 2005. His leadership has helped strengthen operations, customer relationships, and market development.

Meet Swapnil Mondal
Swapnil Mondal represents the third generation of the family business and has been involved in its management since 2023. He holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology and an MBA in Operations and Supply Chain Management from NMIMS, Mumbai.
His industrial experience includes training at Steel Authority of India Limited in Rourkela and project work at the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology in Hajipur. His focus is on modernizing operations, improving supply-chain systems, expanding markets, and contributing to industrial development in Bihar.
